Reminder: Community Garage Sale July 15th from 9:00am to 3:00pm

A growing list of neighbors in our community are joining together to hold first Community Wide Garage Sale. The date is July 15 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM or until you decide to close. For better visibility, signs will be placed in advance of the sale at both the entrance on Route 519 and the entrance on Boone Avenue. 

For those neighbors looking to sell stuff, participating in this event on the same day lets you take advantage of the community advertisement and the increased number of buyers generated by multiple sellers in the neighborhood. For those neighbors not selling, this can be a chance to walk around, meet new neighbors, chat with your fellow residents, and snag some bargains. 

The organizers notified the North Strabane Township police of the community-wide sale event and parking will be permitted on one side of the street during the times posted for the event.

Of course, we’ll all want to be aware that there will be more cars in the neighborhood for the event, and more people walking around on the streets and sidewalks.
