New Board to meet Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 7:00pm
The newly formed Board of Directors will meet for the first time on September 7, 2023 at the Township Building. Normally, the Board always meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month and will resume that schedule in October. However, because of scheduling conflicts, instead of meeting on Thursday, September 21, 2023, the board had to move up its Board Meeting for the month of September.
Ralph Larouere and Jim Kontra Elected to Board
The members of the Home Owners Association elected two neighbors, Ralph Larouere and Jim Kontra to serve on the Board of Directors.
Originally from this area, Ralph Larouere recently moved into Sandy Brae from the Columbus, Ohio area and immediately became involved with the Garage Sale and the ad hoc Rules and By-Laws Committee before deciding to stand for election to the board. Ralph brings board experience after serving on his HOA Board in Ohio.
Jim Kontra was re-elected to serve another term on the Board of Directors. Jim has been a resident since 2016 and has been involve with numerous HOA projects, including broadening owners and occupants’ participation by promoting elections via mail, meeting with multiple contractors to obtain a low bid on needed maintenance for our detention pond, and nurturing discussions with West Penn to install street lighting in our community.
